EthCC general terms and conditions of sale

General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) – Online Ticketing

Article 1 – Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTCS") apply to any ticket order placed on the website www.ethcc.io (hereinafter "the Site") to attend the annual EthCC conference organized by Association Ethereum FRANCE, whose registered office is located at 90 boulevard Flandrin, 75016 Paris, France, under Siret number 83533242000032.

Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS by the purchaser (hereinafter "the Client").

Article 2 – Purpose

These GTCS govern the sale of entry tickets for the EthCC[9] conference organized in Cannes, France, from March 30 to April 2, 2026.

Article 3 – Orders and Booking Procedures

Tickets are available for sale exclusively online via the Site.

Each order is confirmed by an email containing the electronic ticket in the form of a QR Code or barcode.

The ticket is only valid for the day(s) indicated on it. A ticket issued for specific days cannot be used for any other date, nor exchanged for a ticket for another day.

Tickets are personal and non-transferable and must be presented at the entrance (either printed or on a smartphone). The organizer reserves the right to verify the ticket holder's identity upon entry. The organizer may refuse entry in the case of an invalid, falsified, or unpaid ticket.

For security reasons, attendees may be subject to security checks at the entrance. Access may be denied to anyone refusing such checks. It is strictly forbidden to bring weapons, explosive, flammable, or volatile substances, bottles, containers, sharp or blunt objects, or any object that may serve as a projectile, as well as any dangerous or pyrotechnic items, or banners and signs of a political, ideological, religious, or advertising nature. Violators may be held liable and prosecuted.

Tickets purchased may not:

  • be used for advertising, promotional, commercial, media, or public relations purposes, contests, or lotteries;
  • be combined with hospitality, travel, or accommodation services and/or any other merchandise, product, or service to create a package for sale or distribution, unless expressly authorized in writing by the Site.

Article 4 – Access Card

Access to the conference is granted in exchange for the ticket at the entrance, where an access card is issued.

This card is strictly personal and allows only one person at a time to enter the conference. It may not be used simultaneously by more than one person.

In case of loss or forgotten card:

  • If the card is not recorded as "present at the conference", a replacement card may be issued for a €10 fee;
  • If the card is already recorded as "present at the conference", no replacement card can be issued while the previous one remains active. In that case, the only option to re-enter the conference is to purchase a day pass for that day (the old card will then be immediately deactivated, and a new one issued valid from the next day for the remaining duration of the initial card).

Article 5 – Prices and Payment

Ticket prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (TTC).

The organizer reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but tickets will be billed based on the prices in effect at the time of the order.

Payment is made online by credit card. Transactions are secure and processed exclusively through a payment platform selected by Ethereum France.

Article 6 – No Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to the purchase of tickets for dated events.

All orders are therefore final and non-refundable.

Article 7 – Cancellation, Modification, and Refund

  • Event cancellation by the organizer: tickets will be fully refunded within 30 days following the initially scheduled event end date.
  • Event rescheduling: tickets remain valid for the new date. If unavailable, the Client may request a refund.
  • Force majeure (pandemic, strike, natural disaster, etc.): the organizer may offer a reschedule or a credit.
  • No-show or early departure: no refund will be provided.

Article 8 – Access to the Event

The Client agrees to comply with all safety rules and venue regulations.

The organizer may refuse entry to anyone whose behavior may disrupt the proper conduct of the event, without refund.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Article 9 – Liability

The organizer cannot be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage suffered by participants during the event.

The organizer's liability is limited to the amount of the ticket paid.

Article 10 – Personal Data

Information collected during ticket orders is required for ticketing management and event security. Data is processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is not shared with unauthorized third parties.

The Client has the right to access, rectify, and delete their data by writing to tickets@ethereum-france.com.

Article 11 – Customer Service

For any question or complaint, the Client may contact:

Email: tickets@ethereum-france.com

Mail: Association Ethereum FRANCE, 90 boulevard Flandrin - 75016 Paris, France

Article 12 – Governing Law and Disputes

These GTCS are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, the Client may contact a consumer mediator free of charge, in accordance with Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.

If no amicable resolution is reached, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
